La Settimana di Rabarama, 22 Maggio 2015

Devo iniziare col raccontarvi di Domenica scorsa (17 Maggio): con il Rabarama Skin Art festival abbiamo realizzato in contemporanea due eventi flash in pubblico a Firenze e Catanzaro, a sostegno della Giornata Mondiale contro L'Omofobia, “due modelle hanno trasformato il loro corpo in opera d'arte e lo hanno esposto in tutta la sua potente bellezza agli occhi stupiti delle persone, per trasmutare il concetto in arte visibile e contribuire al miglioramento della nostra società.”
Le due modelle sono apparse all'improvviso in mezzo alle persone, con un body paint che le rendeva simili alla mia opera Trasmutazione. Che emozione vedere ancora una volta una mia opera prendere vita e passeggiare per la città :)

Rabarama Skin Art flash a Firenze (Nicla Make Up)

Questa settimana vi ho presentato due dipinti del 2015, appena incorniciati, uno sul soggetto di MANTIS (http://www.rabarama.info/#!painting-mantis/cu5g) e l'altro sul soggetto amatissimo di ALONE (http://www.rabarama.info/#!painting-alone/cq1z).

ALONE

Tornata dal Belgio domenica scorsa, dove sono stata ospite con una esposizione di mie opere alla galleria Cafmeyer, questa settimana ho l'onore di essere tra gli artisti presentati a "Praestigium Contemporary Artists from Italy", un'iniziativa artistica di Luciano Benetton, ecco lui la presenta: "Imago Mundi is a cultural, democratic and global project that looks to the new frontiers of art in the name of coexistence of expressive diversity.” Onorata!

105 Years Old Contemporary Art Gallery Cafmeyer Invites Rabarama to Celebrate

The Cafmeyer Gallery is ready to celebrate 105 years of glorious activity in Belgium, with a cocktail art-party on May 15th and May 16th. The Italian artist Rabarama will attend at the event, where will be exhibiting a selection of her recent artworks.

Rabarama has collaborated with the Cafmeyer Gallery for many years and she is now very well known in Belgium, where her artworks (sculptures and paintings) are in the collections of many art lovers and companies.
The first exhibition of Rabarama in Belgium dates back to the year 1997 and the first solo
exhibition was held the following year in 1998 (here a link to the history of Rabarama's exhibitions).

In these eighteen years the Artist has become one of the best known Italian contemporary artists in the world, thanks to her public art exhibitions (often with monumental sculptures) in Paris, Shanghai, Florence, Beijing, Miami and London among the others and to the participation at the 54th Venice Biennale.
Nowadays, Rabarama is appreciated worldwide and her artworks are owned by some of the greatest collectors in the world; her monumental sculptures have been acquired by museums in Europe, China and USA.

Belgium was one of the first Countries to believe in her career and the collectors could be now, after nearly twenty years of successes, completely satisfied of their past choices.

Questa settimana vi ho presentato la mia nuova scultura SHAKTI che è legata alla tradizione mistica indiana e al tema del femmineo:

Come sapete in questo periodo ci sono due mie esibizioni, una in Olanda alle Van Loon Galleries e l'altra a Monaco di Baviera alla Galerie Hegemann: vi annuncio che prossimamente, il 15 e 16 maggio sarò in Belgio, con una esibizione per celebrare i 105 (!!!) anni di attività della Galleria Cafmeyer, sarò presente personalmente..
