After the recent and successful participation to Artsit-IQ in Amsterdam (January 2015), the internationally renowned artist Rabarama (www.rabarama.info) is back to Holland in a solo show that will be held at Van Loon Galleries (www.vanloongalleries.com) from April 18th to May 31st .
Rabarama is recognized worldwide as a leading contemporary sculptor thanks to her numerous public exhibitions in cities like Florence, Paris, Shanghai, Beijing, Miami, Cannes and for her participation to the 54th Venice Biennale.
The liaison between Rabarama and Holland is one of the most significative in her career, has Rabarama states:
“Holland is one of the first Countries to have appreciated my art at the beginning of my career. My first exhibition here dates back to the year 2004 and in these years so many Dutch Collectors have acquired my works. I can easily say that an important part of my career has now a record in the private homes, in the offices, halls and art galleries of The Netherlands, like a diffused museum.
I must say that for me it was a pleasure to have direct contacts with the Dutch people and collectors because I feel a real and genuine interest towards art mixed with an elegant and discrete personal attitude. Your Country is famous around the world for the History and the achievements in the present about freedom, culture, society and science and for the everlasting bright colors: I think Holland is a great example of what I'm trying to achieve with my art, to bring vital energies in my sculptures and painting through the universal meaning of Beauty. Thank you to Van loon Galleries and to Holland”.
Van Loon Galleries have a long lasting history of successfull collaboration with Rabarama and the exhibition that is now occurring is representative of the Artist's career, with “historical” works along with the newest ones to testimony the most recent creative phase of Rabarama, as Joris van Loon from Van Loon Galleries declares”Rabarama is a major artist for Van Loon Galleries, we always wanted to organize another solo exhibition with her after the successful exhibition in March 2012. ”
The exhibition's opening weekend will take place at Van Loon Galleries (Taalstraat 53 • 5261 BB Vught ) on 18-19th of April and will last until May 31st (opening hours of the exhibition: 12.00 - 17.00. The official opening will be on sunday the 19th of April at 14.00 at Van Loon Galleries

Na de succesvolle deelname aan Artist-IQ in Amsterdam (januari - februari 2015) is de internationaal bekende kunstenares Rabarama weer in Nederland. Ditmaal voor een solo expositie (van 18 april tot en met 31 mei) bij Van Loon Galleries te Vught. Rabarama wordt wereldwijd gezien als een voorloper op het gebied van moderne kunst. Ze heeft al op verschillende plaatsen geëxposeerd met haar werk waaronder steden als: Florence, Parijs, Shanghai, Beijing, Miami and Cannes. Daarnaast heeft ze ook deelgenomen aan de 54e Biënnale van Venetië.
De band tussen Rabarama en Nederland is zeer bijzonder. Zelf zegt ze daarover: “ Nederlands is een van de landen die ik waardeer vanaf het begin van mijn carrière. Mijn eerste expositie in Nederland dateert alweer van 2004 en sindsdien zijn er vele kunstverzamelaars die mijn werk hebben aangekocht. Ik heb de communicatie met Nederlanders altijd als zeer plezierig ervaren omdat ze oprecht geïnteresseerd zijn in kunst.
Jullie land is beroemd om zijn historie en tolerantie en jullie staan tegenwoordig bekend als een land waar vrijheid, cultuur en wetenschap de boventoon voeren. Ik denk dat Nederland ook als voorbeeld geldt voor wat ik probeer te bereiken met mijn kunst, ik probeer bepaalde energie in mijn sculpturen en schilderijen te leggen. Ik wil via deze weg Van Loon Galleries en Nederland bedanken voor het vertrouwen”.
De succesvolle samenwerking tussen Van Loon Galleries en Rabarama duurt inmiddels al 8 jaar. De aankomende expositie bij Van Loon Galleries is een verbond tussen mijn nieuwste creaties en beelden uit het verleden.
Het openingsweekend van deze bijzondere expositie zal plaatsvinden op 18 en 19 april. De officiële opening zal zondag 19 april om 14.00 aanvangen in het bijzijn van de kunstenares Rabarama. De gehele expositie zal uiteindelijk nog duren tot en met zondag 31 mei.
